Easy access to often used items you might not normally be able to fit in your closet, but with organization there is room.

By storing luggage in the closet you save them from both dirt & the hot & humid Texas weather.

Corners require careful planning to be useful. For instance in this corner I stopped the shelves far enough out so that I had room for hanging clothes.

Adjustable shelving allows you to get as many shoes  as possible in  a specific area, especially those tall boots & very flat flip flops.

It also allows you to make space for larger items.

Sometimes it is not appropriate to have a shelf above a hanging bar (like under this window where it would block light and put your items on display).

Using multiple hanging rods for shorter items increases closet capacity.

For instance I was able to squeeze 3 shelves for shoes between these rods.

By carefully choosing & putting this drawer unit in the closet I was able to get all the clients clothes in the closet. Dressing is a one stop deal!

Keeping a ladder in the closet allows you to reach the items you put up higher, making more space available for frequent use, especially in closets with high ceilings.

In this closet, I added narrow walls on both side of the door to increase available storage.

This allowed me to get an ironing board that is not only stored but also usable right here in the closet.

We used all available space without loosing the outside light by going around the windows.

The glass doors not only give this closet an elegant look, but also keep even seldom used clothes dust free.

Dust covers are really helpful for infrequently used items.

Laundry containers fit the preference of each person… a slide out white net bag for her and an on-the-floor, dark blue basket for him.

Glass doors keep off dust while allowing you to view what is inside.

Cute containers make things look less utilitarian.
